Simply outstanding. David at Revive certainly knows his craft, skilled and knowledgeable, I had confidence in him the moment he walked through my door. He worked all hours to ensure all of my windows and front door were completed in a weekend, even on a Sunday! I'm very grateful. Work was completed to an extremely high standard, clean and tidy too. My windows are now fully functioning and secure. Saving the best to last, I now have a warm home without having to put the heating on (I was having to put it on mid August!). Heat is retained and no draft, my thermostat doesn't lie, I kept checking to see if the heating had come on and it hadn't. It's also made a significant impact on noise reduction. t's a very pleasant surprise when a workman's ethics and ability necessitate going online to tell other people about them. David made the effort to restore our sash windows to their intended functions...yes, up and down, but also by blocking cold air from coming in. Retaining room heat is the benefit. (Our energy survey, had it down as a 15% heat loss through the windows.) Draft excluders were routed into all the frames though they are not visible afterwards. In the functions part of it he rebalanced the weights after decades of pane replacement, all of which put windows out of balance and therefore a struggle to open them. Have not seen anyone put in so much dedicated time to get the job done, despite problems of decay and the extra time needed to put it right. morce ambler -- north London

He takes huge pride in his work, is very skilled and was always focused on getting the best and most cost effective outcome for me (/my windows!). He also went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right - working late when surprises popped up, rectifying the shoddy work of other 'professionals' and helping source new glass etc. A commendable work ethic. All this an a highly competitive price. He is also trustworthy and was very respectful of my home. I felt comfortable leaving him a set of keys and he was happy to be flexible around my busy/erratic work schedule, I never felt concerned. David was really responsive and fitted his visits around our busy schedules. He worked flat out and the refurbishment he did on our very challenging windows (to say the least!) was great, and they are now working brilliantly having previously only opened a few millimetres. Dave did an excellent job and we've noticed a big reduction in draughts and in noise. All those gaps in the sash windows added up to a big hole in the sides of the house making it hard to keep the house warm and now those gaps are gone. Very happy!

David arrived at our house a few weeks ago and by the time he left we knew we were going to employ him to fix our sash windows. What David doesn't know about sash windows isn't worth knowing. Since that first meeting he has fixed all our sash windows both up and downstairs and added new locks and fittings and fixed the damp within the window and the frame.
